Pimple popper!!

I have a horrid attraction to popping my pimples every time I get them. It leaves me with unsightly scars. I've been doing it for years and my mother is always complaining about how I must clean up my face and stop popping the pimples. I always try to...

promise I will stop but, non the less, the next time I stand in front of a mirror I'm popping pimples, and picking at my old scars! At this rate, my skin will never look as beautiful as I'd like. Does anybody have tips to get me to stop popping my pimples and picking at the nasty scars they leave? I would be forever in your debt if you would give me some answers!

omgosh. I used to pop mine but thn I stopped. my mom would tell me the same thing as yours but I never got any scars. but I don't know how to help

Try going to the doctors and getting an acne cream. This might help prevent getting pimples in the near future and you won't have to pop them. I use Benza Clin. It works pretty well the only down fall is that it can dry out your skin. Also neutrogena has an 8 hour pimple fighting gel that contains 2% salicylic acid to get rid of the pimple. Also anything with benezoyl peroxide may help too.! hope this helped

oh emm gee I do the same thing and my mom tells me the same thing it leaves these ugly marks on my face but I realize how my face looks in pictures because I pop theose suckers I put toothpaste on mine it reduces the size and dries it out hoping it goes away soon hopes this helps

Benza Clin definitely works

I was/am in the same boat...I went to a dermatologist and got some creams and they have helped clear me up a lot but I still pick and I still have lots of gross scars I wish I knew how to help the only advice I have is try to tackle your acne first before facing the picking issue

I have the same problem...I have a ton of scars and I hate it.
