Anybody tell me all you know about snakebites (lip piercings)

Anybody tell me all you know about snakebites (lip piercings) because I have been thinking about getting some.

they're gross. who wants to kiss somebody with lips rings?

yea I want them too,
they will make your lips swell,
you might have to eat mashed bananas and stuff,
but it will hurt a lot

Haha yayyy snake bites, I love them, I have them, but I think they're over done...

- It didn't really hurt at all to get it done like it was mabey a 3 or 4 on the pain scale (1-10, 10 being the highest)
- But the first week sucked, it hurt soo bad that the only thing I could eat was soup since the whole lower lip was soo like overly sensitive and swollen.
- Kinda sucks that you can't change em around for the first 1-2 months...
- Take good care of them and they'll be fine!
- I've managed to chip my tooth on them, which sucks...

And yeah... if you wanna know anything else... xD lol

When you first get them they may swell a bit, I advise you to take a wash cloth and get it damp with cold water(to bring down swelling), hold it on your piercings until the wash cloth gets warm. Then take the wash cloth and get it damp again, this time with warm water(to increase blood flow to the area) Keep switching off. You can clean the site with anit bacterial liguid soap twice aday if you'd like or you could do saline(salt water) soaks. This may be less irritating to the piercings than anti bacterial liquid soap. You can mix the solution at home. Take a cup of warm water and add salt. Not too much, though. It shouldn't taste stronger than tears. The stronger then solution isn't always better. Too much salt will cause irritation. When you're not cleaning it DON'T TOUCH IT!
Lip rings look better than the labrets in my opinion. I hoipe you decide to do it, piercings are amazing!

and depending on the guy they can look really hot.

they don't hurt bad, like any other peircing, they sting for a bit. then the pain goes away, until after then they just sting. I say get them, a lot of people look amazing with them. (:

I have mine done and they didnt hurt me at all but I have a lot of pain tolerance and I could eat normal foods after but you have to clean them regularly I always cleaned mine twice a day. I advised you get rings first b.c if you get the labret your skin inside of your lip might form over the flat back so you should get them but make sure you clean them =]

I have spider bites

LOVE THEM! my boyfriend has them and its not a bother when you kiss lol
but they hurt haha
