Can you numb your lip before getting it pierced?

well I've had my lip pierced for a few years now. and they didnt give me any cream or anything. all they did was give me mouthwash to clean the inside of my lip.
but I think when people get there lip pierced they dont need it to be numbed.
it doesnt hurt at all. trust me.
I barely felt it but I guess everyone is different.
what other piercings do you have if you have any?
if you have your nose or something like that done then getting your lip done is nothing compared to that haha. =]

the piercer should use a spray anastetic prior to piercing,...you don't feel anyting but a 'tugging' sensation...

well I've had my eyebrow pierced but it closed up. I have gauges as well. I know everyone says, pain is different for everyone, and I dont deal with pain good lulz. I also heard that it is irratating at first is that true?

I hope your getting it profeshionally done first
generally though no, they wont numb the are
unless you ask for it to be nummed first, then they probably will
but the pain only lasts for a few seconds, if you even feel it at all
its nothing you or most people cant handle, so they dont generally numb it first
