piercing infection

SinCity 2006 (alexis bledel) Asked by justplainann about 1 month ago, 2 answers.

I have a piercing in the back of my neck, its 24 karat gold, I've had it for almost 2 years now. The skin around it is not red (though sometimes itchy) and there is a clear or sometimes yellow liquid that comes out sometimes, does anyone know if its normal, or if not, what can I do about it? It's always been like that so I do't think it's an infection...

Thanks in advance

That sounds quite normal. If you don't have pain or a lot of swelling, it should be fine.
If it was infected, your entire body would feel it, ex: fever, chills, nausea, etc. Just go to the shop where you got it done and ask them if it looks healthy. They would know best. Good luck with that!

2 years?
I dont know if after two years yellow liquid should be coming out.
I would consider going to the place where the piercing was done if possible.
Or just whatever parlor might be able to tell you what might be the issue.
