Picnic foods

What are some easy, cheap foods for a romantic picnic?

I would say don't have a picnic. Just clear off a table outside and while the sun is about to go down, light some candles. Buy something that someone would eat at a restraunt. Try making a steak dinner with mashed potatos and garlic bread and stuff. Steak only costs about $10.00 each so it would only take about $25.00 for a really good cheap dinner.

cottage cheese (need a cooler)
salads (might need a cooler)
have a rose in a vase
light some candles

Dips with crackers and stuff like stuffed peppers and feta is always good

Tuna and crackers. Grapes. Fruit slices with honey (or cool whip or sugar) to dip into. Vegetables with ranch dressing (carrots, celery, broccoli). Baked beans.

Nothing says romance like baked beans and tuna Oy vey.
