Why? Are you locked out of your bedroom?

You can use a safety pin or a paperclip. To make a pick from a paperclip, straighten the paperclip and then bend it 90 degrees very close to one end. Alternately, you may bend one end into a tiny loop. Then jiggle it in the lock, depending on how the lock is set up. You'll want to be able to push up with the pick and feel the lock pins.

try a credit card with a notch cut in it or a hanger (depending on whether the door opens in or out), and instead of trying for the lock try for the part that goes into the door jam- basically all that you have to do is to be able to push in the angled part . As soon as the angled catcher is pushed in, pull the door towards you slightly and then push quickly it should work.
