Is my friend psycho for pretending she was raped?

My friend lied and pretended that she was raped
Does that mean she is physco or something?

She probably wants Attention, Maybe theres something else going on that she hasn't said. Sometimes people only know how to get negative attention. Are you positive that her claims of being raped are false? Try talking to her, see what the root of the problem is. Maybe all she needs is a good friend to listen to her! hth

No, she's not psycho, people who want/need attention usually have real issues and they dont know how to ask for help...

I have the same problem. my friend said she was raped and even had bruises on her...but everyone doesnt believe her.

how do you know she was lying?? If she did lie, most people who lie about something like that, are seeking attention...she isnt pyscho..but in either case whether it happened or whether she lied about it happening..she probably needs counseling of some sort.

fisrt make sure she absoloutly wasnt telling the truth
now, if she wasnt yes she was doing it for attention
but she sounds like she needs some help
she could have something rare
that makes people tell, from small to even huge lies,
just to get peoples attention and care
they want everyone they know to comfort them and care about them
which if she has this
probably means she didnt get the attention and love she craved back as a child
if you notice her telling a lot of fibs, big or small
really tell her to speak to a counsellor or someone she can trust
