Photoshop, how to cut people out?

Hay . if you have a picture of someone with a background behind them. How do you cut them out without having the background there?? do you use photoshop or what can you use???

just white it out at some photo edit place

oh on photoshop, just select around the person, then click inverse selection, then just click delete or clear, or cut. either wway works

even if you just open the picture in paint and just erase the background.
