Like the previous answer, must be a standard format, but also not too large - make sure to use a photo editor to cut the size down to 200K or less usually unless you need super high resolution (extra fine detail) I suggest Irfanview as easy to learn and has lots of options for shrinking photos, changing types. It is freeware, from most download sites (examples: filehippo, download.com)
