Can you explain the photo rating feature?

what's this photo rating thing that pops in my mail box saying'your photo ha been rated' I dont understand it and how do I read the comments that other pipo send about my photos in my album?

Click the link in the email to view the photo that was rated by another member. On the same page, scroll down & you'll see the comments (if any) people made about the photo.

You can also turn off photo ratings with a link on the same page, in the right hand menu.
