Pet chimps??

In the news the other day a pet chimpanzee ripped off (literaly) a womens face. Should people keep chimpanzee's as a pets?

NO! no wild animal should be a a pet it is unfair the the animal and then they are punished by being killed for simply acting on nature's instinct! ahhh

no, chimps, monkeys, apes ect
there not animals you can keep like a cat or dog
its illegal to have one as a pet unless you have the apropriate license
if you dont have a license to keep it, your illegally keeping a wild animal, and most likly it got delivered to you illegally as well
this can end up in the person getting a huge fine and lots of jail time
keeing a monkey as a pet is just stupid and animal cruelty
it cant live in a cage, it cant live in the backyard and it doesnt want to eat human food. they dont make monkey food at stores either
a monkey is not a pet
its a wild animal that needs to live in the jungle with other monkeys
monkeys are very social animals, if you keep one, your just killing it slowly

They did kill the chimp. the owner stabbed it with a kitchen knife while trying to fet it off her friend. her friends face was so torn up they didnt even no it was a girl.

No...there's a chance that any type of monkey will become aggressive when it gets older...a chimp is 250 lbs of muscle bound aggressiveness...From everything I've read on this...this chimp lived pretty much as a human...slept with owner, rode in the car, ate at the table...a round peg shoved into a square hole...NOT RIGHT AT ALL!!
