Why is my stool really dark?

Okay this is freaking me out a lot. My stool is really dark, like black almost. I know it's 'sick' or 'gross' people, but just understand that if it were you and you were scared and trying to find answers... please help me. And if it helps I am a 16 yr old female. Help im scared!!! Im kinda constipated too, I know gross talking about this kind of stuff but I need to know if something is wrong with me.

talk o your mom about it, or go see a doctor if you're so worried about it...maybe it's just something you ate

I looked it up on the computer and it said it could be a stomach ulcer, which is bad I guess but I dont know... I dont know what to do...

Please don't be worried. You need to talk to a doctor or nurse after you've talked with your Mom. It could be blood in your stool.

About the constipation, it could be too much chocolate or not drinking enough water. If you eat an apple or two each day (apples have lots of fiber) eat some cereal with fiber, and drink at least two liters of water, stop eating sugar, you should be fine.

If your stool is dark black and kind of looks like coffee grounds... Go to your folks it could be internal bleeding. It sounds gross but its nothing to get crazy about as long as you can talk to your folks and seek medical attention.
