Mostly it's because the people around them build their egos so much that they feel that they are better than others therefore they start acting like that. It's usually when people non-stop compliment them and everyone in their lives tells them they are perfect

super wife, if you say that you don't think that, then you are full of yourself, considering you're being the one to judge whether you're one of those best looking girls... anyways, to answer the question, it's usually because they know that they're good looking... but you got to remember, that (at least at my school) the older they get and the more they realize that they're gorgeous, the more they're going to take advantage of that... personally, I stay away from any girl who is full of themselves
