Perms or body wave?

I really want a perm, or body wave, but I hear that people really end up hating their hair, and have really tight ringlets, and I want something loose.. or something like this.. [[The picture below]] Can I tell my styleist that I want loose curls and...

will they make it loose? and also if I brought this pic into the hair place, what would they do if I told them I wanted it to look something like this? PLease help!

BE WARE perm go SERIOSLY wrong and your hair can be damaged until it grows out lol
but just say you want a loose perm and they wll do that for you

A body perm might start out tighter than you might want...but within a week or so (depending on how much natural body you have), it will loosen up...

I don't want it to come out in like 2 washes, so I was it loose but not too losse.
