Permantley straightening your hair.

Well I have naturally wavy hair, but I straighten it every day.
I want to get it permantley straightened by a pro. but I dont know what will happen and if it really works..?

who's all got their hair permantley straightened?
I need to know if it works,
and when you take a shower will it still be striaght..
and what about humidity?

does it stay straight through that?

I need honest answers please!
& I know its expensive..

I have that, because my hair was REALLY curly.

it works to a certain extent;
the humidty has the same effect on it as before.
if you have thin hair don't do it it will kill your hair
its effects are different on everybody, mine comes
out w/ little damage but yours might not, most
salons do a test though, just make sure you get
someone who knows what they are doing!
mine lasts about three months, mail me w/ other

well my hair stays straight it doesnt get really get curly until you need a touch up and I get that every 6-8 weeks so its not that bad. but you mite have 2 straighten it if your want a sexy sleeker look. when you get it you go to get it you can have wet your hair within 24 hours I think because your pores will be open and it mite burn a lot! and if your dont want to use a flat iron you can just use a brush and a blowdryer unless the dryer has a comb on the end then you can just use that and it makes your hair strait and have volume! uhh black hair is different than white hair.
ours is damaged a lot easier.
so I really don't suggest doing that jbfreak
