HI MY NAME IS CHIKIYA I AM SCARED WHEN I HAVE MY PERIOD . DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY ADVICE THAT WOULD HELP ME!!! HOW WOULD IT BE EASY FOR ME WHEN I START IT TO TELL MY MOM!!! HELP!!! ME PLEASE

Dont be scared. Having your period is more natural then like, granola. So im guessing you didnt get it yet. Dont worry, our mom has it to and has had it since she was about your age, so she wont be mad! She'll be cool about it. Trust me I know how you feel, I cried when I got mine (about two years ago) because I was afraid to tlel my mom. My mom was out at the time, so I told her over the phone which made it less awkward. Dont worry, because after you get over telling her you'll feel okay talking to her baout more things, it will bring you closer. And dont be worried about your period hun, its just some pretty stinky cramps and a head ache here and there, it really isnt that bad. you can fun mail me if youd like

hey just want to say dont be scared, I think you should talk to your mum about it as soon as you can. it will help to get it off your chest and she will reasure you that it is perfectly ok for you to be nervous about it too, I think we all were. its not as bad as you might think some people dont even get the cramps etc. just look at it as your first step to becoming a lady, be excited not scared x

I think that you should just come out you shouldn't be afraid to tell. When I was your age. I just told my aunt and she told me what to do. You shouldn't feel scared to tell you mom. She will just be cool with it. DON"T BE AFRAID TO TELL. ITS OK

DON't be scared periods are nuthin to be afraid of I'm 13 and I got my prieod when I was 10 years old my dad was so happy he started telling every one my yougest daughter is a woman .but I told him to stop .if you really are sacred and is not sure about your body ask your mom to get this book "whats happening to my body book for girls"
. if your scared to tell your mom give her a letter saying mom I'm really sarced about get my period and I found on the internet about this book I want to get so please be understanding hopful she will under stand

hey dont be scared and if you are here are some tips
*put a letter in her bag
*ring her at work or when shes out
*if you have a older sister ask her to tell your mum for u
*send her a e-mail at work or somthig
*tell your friends then you might grow some more confidence

I kept on crying once I got my period, but then I asked myself what I was crying about it's just my period. You shouldn't be afraid your mom has her period, your aunt, your sister, your grandma, Hanna Montana. Every woman gets it. your mom will understand your awkwardness 'cause she had to do the same thing with her mother. You can also to another adult or has already had there period to help you become more comfortable. =) your going to be fine I promise!

hi im 13 I havent started my period yet either but im not scared anymore I realised every girl will have a period at some point(I think)lol anywayz just put it like this your mum has had a peruiod to she has gone through sodont be a friad to tell her do you have msn we can talk on there it is more private lol :D

hi, I'm 13, I started my period at age 11, and keep this in mind: ALL GIRLS GET THEIR PERIODS EXCEPT THE ONES WHO HAVE SOME KINDS OF DISEASES!!
the first thing I did when I got it was calling mom!!
cause I trust her more than anyone else!! you should trust your mom as much as possible!!
and yes I admit, I was afraid the first time I saw it with my single eyes!! I almost cried but I didn't cause mom told me it's natural, dont worry about it, etc.
just take it easy when you get it!! you need to be happy when you get it, cause when you get it you will know that you can have babies!!
cause if you don't, you won't be able to have babies!!!
just take it as if it's a visitor who is visiting you every month or more, and only visiting for few days!!! 15 MAXIMUM!!!
