Why don't i have my period yet?

I'm 12 and well, all my friends have recieved their periods but i haven't yet and it makes me feel like i'm still a girl and not mature at all. And i know i still have 4 years to get it but i still feel like just another girl even though i'm developed...

and totally ready for it.

People get their periods at different times. It's not a big deal, and it does not matter. It is not related to how mature you are mentally. You'll get it when your body is ready to get it. It's not like it's a fun thing anyway, so there's certainly no rush! :P

yh she's right it depends when your mum started hers because your'll ave yours arounds that time..trust me its more fun without a period because your thinking is it tht time of the month then youve got the cramps then the mood swings n the bloating n much more

Im with the top two ladies, periods are no fun and you arent missing out on anything. I didnt get mine until I was 14 and I was alot like you. I was a little jealous of my friends because they had already gotten theirs and were maturing alot faster than I was. Give it time, be patient, because when it does happen you will wish it hadnt. :-)

Do not woory if you do not have .. you can get them from the age as earl as 9 to 17 if you do n not have one by the time you are 18 then you will want to see a docotor .. do not be in a hurry to grow up ..

most ppl get them wen there 13 and dont worry about it every1 is different
