Y do periods hurt so much?

Its onli blood coming outa your body so why dose it hurt?

Each month the body builds up a layer of blood on the uterine wall in preparation for a fertilized egg to implant there. If an egg is not fertilized, then the lining of blood sheds because no pregnancy occurred. There is some tissue shed with this blood but it is mostly blood. The pain comes from the contraction of the uterine muscles. These contractions help the blood to shed, similar to (but not as bad) the contractions of childbirth which help move baby dowm the birth canal.

because ypur overys come togeather and rub then you bleed get some heat pads or go on the jabs im on that and 80% of us ladys dont get them when we are on the jab ask your doctor

Ok, what???

Menstruation is the shedding of the uterine lining...think about it, you're sloughing off tissue - that's bound to be uncomfortable. Some women are fortunate enough not to have to endure a lot of pain.
