I think you should tell your doctor all your worries about this. And I think it would be worth being stuck with a needle to find out if that's what's wrong (I don't know if you have a phobia, though, so...). Just try not to freak out too much; this is a cause for worry, though, so I'm not saying you should just blow it off.
Hope it helps!
Sorry, I'm a guy.
I would suggest that you let the doctor put you on the pill because that will tend to regulate your cycles.
Let the doctor stick you! Simply don't look when he is doing it and right before and during, dig the thumb nail of the arm hand that is being stuck into the tip of your index finger on the same hand. It is difficult for the brain to perceive two pains at the same instant so you will barely feel the needle and it will be a tolerable experience.
I hate needles and have to get stuck a couple of times a year. The thumbnail trick really works.
If you're lucky, it's just hormones causing your problems. However, it is well worth a good checkup by your doctor.

Period problems. girls only!
Im 15 and started my periods 2 years ago when I was 13. They are really irregular, but by now they apparatly should have settled into a regular pattern.I can go for 4 months without having one. They are also really painful and heavy when I do have one,...
which isnt very often to be honest.I went to my doctor who suggested putting me on the pill.He also wanted to to a anemia test which I refused because Im terrified of needles. I have read about Polycystic Ovaries and wondered if any sufferers could advise me. What could be wrong? Im really worried
