When will I hit puberty?

I'm thirteen and do not have my period yet. All my friends have their periods, but they all have boobs the size of basketballs! My mom got her period when she was twelve, my olders sister's got theres in eigth and sixth grade. But they have boobs. Obviously from writing this you can probably tell that I don't have boobs, which I don't. When will I hit pueberty? To get boobs and my period! HELP!!!

Trust me I hit my period at 12. I get it every 19 days and it last for 7. Don't rush into wanting a period. Sometimes you can get puberty genes from the other side of you family and have it later or earlier than you siblings. I got it much earlier than my sister. Plus you should be happy with the size your breasts are now because when they get huge you won't be able to do as much without them hurting. So just be happy for now and don't worry about it!

don't worry some girls dont get their periods until their 18. And why are you cmplaining about it? Just enjoy not having it and not having to worry about that

I CAN SEE YOU THINK THAT IF YOU HAVE BOOBS THEN YOU WILL GET YOUR PERIOD BUT THAT IS NOT TRUE, THAT JUST MEANS YOUR BODY IS DEVELOPING SLOW, AND TRUST ME PLEASE DO NOT RUSH THE PROCESS, WHEN YOU HAVE YOUR PERIOD YOU WOULD WISH YOU HAVE NOT RUSHED, BUT TRUST ME YOU SHOULD HAVE IT BUT THE AGE OF 14 OR 15

Oh sweetie don't feel that way I didn't get my period till I turned 15!yes shocking but every1 grows different I thought I was an alien for not having it but it came and its best you wait till its your time trust me men and guys aren't always looking for a gal with 'boobs' and 'butt' its the inside beauty trust me I know 1st hand so cheer up hun =)

You may feel left out. You may think that your boobs haven't developed. If you have pubic hair and you show signs of breast developement. If you get discharge in your panties it wont be long.

By the way getting your period is not any fun. It sucks! Sure it might be fun to tell your friends yeah I got it I'm a woman now, but I'd rather do a way with it.

Well, I would just like to tell you that you are not the only one!! I am in EXACTLY the same position as you :D and you can get your period at any time at all sooo ... all we have to do is wait. All of my friends have started and have massive boobs, and sometimes I am quite glad that I am not them. I dont really want to start my periods, but I wouldn't really like to start late. My best friends mum started when she was 17!! So all I would say is just wait and enjoy the time where we dont have to worry about changing pads or anything!!

my mum didn't start her period until 16, yet I started mine at 10...not fun.
when you start your period varies some much.
most girls start by 16, if not by then they advise seeing a dr.
you're 13, so don't worry. you're still developing.
most girls start to get boobs before they get their periods.
I started to get mine at 9!
unfortunatly there's nothing you can do to speed things up.
I know how you must feel, but try not to stress about it.

your soo lucky that you don't have your period now..I hate it..esp because you neva noe when you are going to get it...and it sux when you get it in school and you don't even noe...and the cramps are bad too ..having your perios is just a hassel TRUST ME..and I was just like you I wanted it and stuff but then when I got it I HATED IT!!!

dont want to hurry I got mine after I turned 12 and it sux you know just havin to put on a pad eewww it sucks a lot I have the same prob with boobs thought I watn them but I cant hurry it though

I say feel special some people dont get their periods till later their not fun but your boobs will start before your period so enjoy it while it lasts

I have the same problem, and I am starting to develop my boobs, but when I start I dont know how to tell my mom. my mom is a toatal tom boy, so I don't know how to tell my mom!!

well it happens at all differnt ages like for me I was 13 when I got mine and dont worry somtimes things come late it wil happen eventually dont rush it IT SUCKS and your boobs might not get the size of basketbaclles and dont worry if you get realy scared talk to your mom and if your worried talk to your mom I hope things go well and you figure out wats going on.

I haven't gotten mine yet! but I have boobs if you want to feel like you want some boobs get padded bras. it may sound stupid but they work good. I never wore them but, you should if you want

Hey! don't worry about it everyone hits puberty @ a different time and don't be in a hurry to get your period it sucks and feels yucky by the way enjoy being a kid ull only be a kid once

I wanted mine too,
and the best thing to do is just try to put it out of your mind.
it WILL eventually come, and theres nothing you can do to speed up your body's development.
so just live life and be happy with what you've got instead of fixating on what you want.
