The reason why your friend was put on birth control is because the pill regulates the hormones that give you your periods, giving you a more predictable and controlled cycle.
If you go to your doctor and this is what they suggest, your mother won't get 'wigged out'! Try telling her about the issue and ask to go to the doctor because you are concerned- and if she says you should go on the pill then she will fully explain to both you and your mother why you are being put on the pill. Good luck
you could ask your mom to take you to the doctor and see what they say about it.
its nothing wrong, if you didnt have no inter corse with a opposite sex dont worryy about it , all our systems are different in each way but if you get worryed dont be scared, ask an adult who your comfortable like your mother, and ask her ,hope this helps

How can I regulate my period without birth control?
Send me Fun Mail
Usually, when women have their period, they get cramps, back pain, etc. DURING the bleeding part of their menstrual cycle. Well, mine is weird. While I'm on my period, I don't have any pain at all, no mood swings, nothing. But as soon as my period ends, I get horrible cramps. And since I'm a very dedicated long distance runner, it takes a big toll on me. Not only are my cramps irregular, but sometimes my period will last for a few days, COMPLETELY stop.. then come back a day or two later. I'm not really sure what I should do about this, or how it can be treated. But I could use some advice.. a friend of mine experienced something along these lines and they put her on birth control and told her it was the easiest, most effective way to deal with the problem. But, I don't want my mom to wig out if I ask to be put on birth control. So, I'm looking for any alternative options, advice or.. anything really. thanks.
