Period help

Send me Fun Mail

I am going on holiday in a couple of weeks with my school, so my family aren't going with me. My period is supposed to happen before then, but it hasnt yet. Normally I skip about 2-3 periods in between, because it isn't regular yet. I really don't want it to happen when I am on holiday, because its a water sports trip. I can't (and don't want to) go on the pill because I am only thirteen. Is there anyway I can trigger it before then??? Please write back asap xxx

Nope.
Just take lots of tampons so you can still go into the water and such. And obviously take lots of pads for bedtime.

well when you do start pamprin will slow down your flow so its not so heavy, it makes it longer, but helps, and take A LOT of tampons youll need them. I just went to Hawaii and had my period, it actually wasnt that bad, so you have nothing to fear. just HAVE FUN

at 13 then you dont want to use possibly harmful things to change your cycle
they all come with side effects
so let your body do its thing naturally
bring tampons with you for the pool if you decide to go swimming
read all the directions and instructions carefully
and relax as you put them in, dont tense up
also bring pads with you for when your not swimming

while your underwater you wont leak so no worries
just bring tampons with you so if you start when you get out you can be ready.
and no tampons dont hurt a bit. just read the instructions or ask your mom or someone to explain. best of luck!
