I heard a 20 minute jog will help. It will be very hard to get started at first, but after you've been going a few minutes, you'll feel a lot better. Using a hot water bottle on your stomach also helps and so does taking a hot bath. thats bout all I know, C-ya!

I use to get really really bad cramps. At work was the worst. I use to fill up an empty water bottle with really HOT HOT water from the bathroom sink, and then hold the bottle on my belly. When your stuck, it feels like HEAVEN! They also sell those packs that stick to the ourside of your underwear, which does pretty much the same thing. Try the hot water belly, it feels awesome when you have killer cramps.
Good luck!

I had horrible cramps too. I went to my doc to see if there was anything I could do. She prescribed me birth control. It works wonders!!. I hardly have any cramps anymore. And, if I do, they are slight to where I can barely feel them.

Exercise and heat increase the bloodflow in your entire body, which logically increases the menstrual bleeding, which logically increases the pain. Usually two of the things that doctors tell you NOT to do during your period are exercise and hot baths. But I guess if it works, it works.

How about just taking an Advil? Tylenol? Ibuprofen? Aleve? People take them like candy these days anyway, what's the harm. Works on me.
