Yes, you can have more than one, or you can have no period for more than a few months. It takes anything from 2-5 years before a girls period is evened out.

Just another thing to note...if you are having more than one period a month, make sure that you aren't feeling unusually tired and lacking too much energy, then it might be worth it to go speak to your doctor.
