What does it mean when a period lasts for weeks?

When a girls period have been on for weeks what do you think that means?
It went on for 27 days and then it was off for 20 days and then right back on again.

it's common to be irregular in you teens, but that's a long time.
you need to see a dr about that.

hormone issues (I had mine for about a year so I wouldnt panic)
but you really need to see a dr... only way to fix it... also could be something serious...

you may poloy cisitical ovaries.little water things on your ovaries.get to a doctor cause it makes it hard to have kids when you want to fall pregnant.
