You cant use pads while swimming... the pad will just absorb the water, and the blood from the pad will simply leak out... I'd suggest you refrain from swimming...

I think you might have to tell someone.
Just go for it, no one will care.

Pills? What...period pills?

Unfortunately, it sounds like your stuck on dry land. Tampons would be the way to go, ans they would keep the blood in and the water out, but without the luxury of using them, well...try to get a tan, at least.

of course you can swim on your period !!!

sweetie, when in water your blood flow STOPS completely. The water blocks your period from coming out. Just make sure when you get out of the water you have a bathroom ready and get ready with tons of pills because you'll probably get cramps !

But yes, you can swim, of course ! I promise. I swim on my period ALL the time, it's ok. Just make sure you have a bathroom near so you can put a pad on when you're done and not stain your bikini.

have fun !!!

If you can't use tampons, you should probably stay out of the water. As Ty said, your pad will absorb water causing the blood (in the pad) to flow out.
