I got my period sunday and I haven't told my mom(yet).I need help.how should I tell my mom?Please help me!!

Just come out with it. Be casual. She won't be surprised. Maybe ask her to help you pick out some varieties of pads and tampons so you can try them out. if you have any more questions about it, let me know.

Just tell her that you started your period. She'll give you advice from there on. Besides, why would it be a bad thing? She won't get mad at you. It would be like getting mad at you for breathing!

Im mum of a 13yrold girl and she comes to me everynow and then and says mum when is it going to happen? Im lucky we have a good relationship with all the private things. I think you should tell her straight away or she will be devistated that she couldnt have helped you out earlier. She will be proud her little girl is grown up! xx
