Percent means for every hundred.

Solution:
2% of 6000 = 2/100 of 6000
= 2*6000/100
= 120

Oh no, I committed a crime and put '3000' instead of '6000' I better change it before someone has a heart attack.

10% of 6000 is 600
so 1% is 60 that would mean 2 is 120 so steph is correct
