Percentage of gay, lesbian, and bisexual people

I was wondering if anyone knew what the percentage was of Women in the world who are lesbian? The percentage of Men who are gay? The percentage of Men who are bisexual? And the Percentage of Women who are bisexual? Just wondering if anyone knew the statistics. Please give suggestions. Thank You.

The only statistic I have heard repeatedly is that 10% of humans are homosexual. it is my personal belief that we are all born with bisexual tendancies, and we fall one way or another depending on our environment.

Well I think it is true that women can have sexual feeling towards other women, but I don't think men normally have sexual feelings towards other men. You see it more with women hugging, kissing and just hanging out. Men usually aren't that close and stuff.

Somewhere between 5 and 10 %. It depends a bit on the culture and population where you are born.

Honestly those statistics are hard to calculate, it depends on how the question is asked and what is counted (they aren't fixed categories) But here are the stats I got from my sexuality class

Exclusively heterosexual(Kind of exclusively)
92% men
95% women

Exclusively homosexual
2% men
1% women

At least one same-gender sexual experience in adulthood (since 18)
7.5% men
4.5% women

6% bi or asexual men
4% bi or asexual women

And the only reason women hug and kiss etc is because society approves of this contact and disapproves of male contact... if male contact was the norm then they'd be doing it too...

try and remember a lot of "the way things are" is actually constructed by societies norms...
