How to get through a piercing when I hate needles?

I want my belly button pierced but I am not allowed so me and my friend are going to pierce our own this weekend prob...but I freak out with needles or thing like that but I am not sure if I can do it myself...anyone have any ideas on how to get through it.

I got mine done and it dont hurt that bad soo you should be okay just close your eyes and take a deep breath and dont let go until your done pierceing it

ok me and my friend went to get ours done together professonally well she is useally not scared of anything I got my done first it hurt for like a sec then it was over with well she saw my face and knew it hurt so she started shakin the guy doin it had to wait for her to calm down before he stuck the needle through because if he did it while she was freakin out she could have a panic attac so I advise you not to do it youself if your not so good with needles also you have a higher chance of it gettin infected when belly rings get infected the smell BAD and gross stuff comes out alsoit hurts like hell
but if do go through with it iadvise you not to use neosporin the first couple weeks (it made my bleed) and clean it with rubbin alcohol (yes it does sting a lil but it helps)

I wouldn't suggest doing it yourself, especially if you're afraid of needles. Also because they get infected easily, even if you get them done professionally. But anyway! I was also really scared of needles when I went to get mine done a couple weeks ago. I just had a friend go with me, and I talked to her while they were doing it so I wouldn't even pay attention to the needle. Before I knew it, it was already over. Just don't watch them (or your friend) putting the needle through. Try to distract yourself It doesn't hurt as bad as you think it will.

RIGTH IM TERRFIED!! OF NEEDLES! I CANT EVEN LOOK AT 1!! WIV OUT ME FEELING FAINT SICK AND DIZZY! I HAVE MY EARS PIERCED TWICE AND MY NOSE! You need to be responsible. You should be scared if your doing it yourself or getting your friend to do it. There are so many precautions when piercing something yourself. Make better choices.
Wait till your parents give you permission and then get it done by a professional, it is worth the wait.

I did it my self with a needle. first do it with a big needle like a sewing leather needle then let it sit there for a couple hours to stretch out the hole put something like a disinfectant on it like bactein is good it worked for me then when you think your ready get the actual jewlery hold your breath and push it threw up from the bottem dont stop till you feel the metal come out the top. there your done but make sure you take good care of it!!! wash it im the shower every day with a hospital soap like dial its pink and in a pump bottle and says antibacterial move jewlery up and down to get soap inside then rinse and keep moving up and sown till all soap is gone good luck!
