Want a tongue piercing but scared it will hurt

I really want a tongue piercing but im scared lol im afraid it will either get infected or it will hurt...

It will hurt but when you go to get it done just think about how good it's going to look. Also, it you just follow the instructions they give you (I think they tell you to wash with salt water or something like that) then it shouldn't get infected. Someone was posting something about doing it themselves the other day, I don't know if that was you but if it was I wouldn't suggest doing it yourself because you will have a much higher risk of getting an infection, the professionals know what they're doing, no offense but you really don't.

hiii! Listen! First of all - toungue doesnt hurt! This is a rule! You can see how they do it on YouTube. Looks creepy but doesnt hurt!
I suggest you to go to proffesional salon or find a person who knows something about it. They should do it with a special equipment, loook at them, ask questions, talk as long as you find out everything you need...as long as you feel comfortable. They should answer your questions. The place where they do it should be clean. They should feel very comfortable and cant be nervous (no shaking hands!!!) and thats all! If you do it, I can tell you what to do later. I did it with my toungue and belly button. Know something abouit it. message me if you like. See ya!

pierce anything like ears, lip, belly button yourself but NEVER tongue. it's dangerous if not done by professionals and could hit a nerve and paralyse your face. seriously. it doesn't hurt much but your tongue gets so swollen afterwards you speak like an idiot for a day or so but other than that its fine.

Don't let anyone fool you, it hurts like hell. I did this twice. If it is a necessity, please follow the instructions that you are given and have a cup of crushed ice handy when you are done, you are going to need it!

Well, I think you will never be able to know if you dont try. I encourage you because its so worth it. And if you dont like it, you can get rid of it. It is not so bad as it looks like.
I didnt feel anything. Remember that toungue is a special muscle. It doesnt have many nerves think about it! plus when they do it, they stretch it and blood goes down its a comon sense. But hey if you are afraid- dont do it. And well, this is what I think abouit it, but in the same time you must remember that everybody is different!
I decided to make my toungue and belly button in the same time. And everybody says that belly b. does not hurt! And guess what??? .. . . . it has hurt as hell! I have very tight skin and muscles there and the girl stopped for a split sec in the middle of doing it... she couldnt get through. I am glad she made a quick decision to do it. Because I would never let her start from the beginning!!! No way! Finally I have it. And it was worth it. I was very lucky to do it with professional. But as I said, if you dont try, you will never know how it is! ITS WORTH IT!!!

You need to educate yourself about the whole healing process, theres a lot of information on the internet. I was reading it all the other day and it scared me lol

omfg, DO NOT get a tounge piercing. they are sooo gross!!! did you no, that most people that get tounge piercing, they're toune swells up and gets all infected and gross. its not a good look. and I pass people in the streets will tounge piercings and the first thing I think of is, omg they have a tounge piercing, gross. it doesnt look cool, and if you want to get a swelled-up, infected tounge, be my guest. do not let people peer preasure into getting a tounge piercing. go for a belly-button piercing, that looks hot and is much prettier...
