Is it saying "NTLDR is missing, Press any key to restart" by and chance?

Your copy of windows has become corrupted somehow (possibly a virus) - NTLDR is an important part of the Windows boot process.

A Microsoft Support Document on how to fix the problem can be found here - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/318728 (this is for Windows 2000 though, although XP should be the same).
