Pc guard scans

everytime I run a Anti Spy Ware scan, my lappy freezes! How can I make sure it doesn't freeze?
Help quick pleaseee!!

 
Switch to a different Anti Spy Ware program.

I use both Ad-aware and Spybot - Search Destroy. I find that I occasionally have problems with Ad-aware but I never have problems with Spybot and I like the way it works.

Something else that you might try using regularly is a registry cleaner program. It gets rid of dead registry links which helps to speed up your computer.
