Do female condoms work?

thanks a bunch for all the advice given.Since my last question I've been doing some reading.Curiousity has gotten the better of me.I've heard of female condoms-do they work?Can I use one while he's using his at the same time...?I'm going to the dr.soon to get on the pill,but until then...is this a good option?

no only use ONE condom the rubber on rubber will brake them

Female condoms are just as effective as the ones put over the pen*s-but you have to leave it in for a while after sex to make sure no sperm get past.
