A lot smaller. But it really does depend on where you go. English are a very different from say french or spanish.

Europe is a continent and has many countries which means many cultures too! The fun part about Europe is that you can be in totally new country within an hours drive in some places. Imagine having coffee in France everything writtten in French then bang an hour later having pasta in Italy!
Since you specification wrote Paris in your question I'll describe it a bit: lots of cute cafés and restaurants. Parisian love to sit on the sidewalk and have a drink. Lots of really great bakeries and cheese stores...yummy. Parisians are usually very trendy and well dressed (cute hats, nice shoes, small matching dogs) but there is so many people in Paris that in the end you see all styles. If you take the underground you'll see people from all over the world. There are tons of great museums, parks and of course architectural wonders (ex.: the eiffel tower). Great place to visit!
