Parents want me to change schools.
I just started highschool at one of the best public schools in the area, and I really love it. But now my parents want me to start going to a private college prep school. It's a 45 min. drive, and I'd have to ride one of the schools 'long distance buses'...
in the morning and after school since my parents are at work. I really don't want to spend 2 hours a day riding the school bus. Plus I don't know anyone at that school. I'm afraid the kids would be snobby, because it's in a wealthy area and costs $15,000 a year. I'm use to going to a school where 60% of the kids live below the poverty line. But my parents say it's for my future, and I'm going. How can I convince them to let me stay?
