Parents don't like the idea of me and an older guy dating..

Okay, so I'm 16, and I realllyy like this 18 year old guy, and he likes me too. I don't think he just wants sex or w/e because he knows I don't believe in sex before marriage [I'm a Christian]. We talked about it, and says he isn't looking for sex from me. My parents however, seem to think that he is, because he's older. My older brother [17] seems to think so too. He asked me out on a date, and I don't think my parents will let me. Any advice of what to do?

just tell your parents you wont give in if he does. Parents just want what is best 4 you even tho it sucks now!!! tell them you wont have sex and expain that he is not only interested in it

There's not much you can do unfortunately. All you can do is talk to your parents about it, tell them you are responsible and that you really care for the guy. Prove to them you can be grown up and are mature enough to be with him.
If they still dont like it, I'm afraid your going to have to deal with it because your a minor and he's over the age of 18 so your relationship is illegal.

well dont go and sneak out just to go on a date with him... Mention to your parents what he has told you and well do anything that you believe it is the right thing to do... If you can go out, try convincing your parents on letting him come to dinner or something... So they can get to know him more... Dont be so gullible either .. cause anyone can say anything but it better for them to actually prove it...
