Maybe they're having money problems, don't think you're old enough, or won't accept that you're getting older.
Or maybe they just don't want your life to be consumed by a cell phone.
I haven't brought up the topic of cell phones anymore and just let events where I would need the safety of a cell phone happen, and my dad wants me to always carry his, which I now don't want. :/

Parent power is a bummer
I am 14 years old and my parents will not let me have a cell phone, I have tried everything, from offering to pay, to working for it and willing to prove I am responsible and they still say no I could really use some advice here, please help.
