Paranoid about one of the popular girls...

Alright, so there's this girl who I go to school with, and is in one or two of my classes.Most of my friends say that they don't like her, and that she's a total snob.One of my friends says that the girl is nice to her, though that may not always mean that my friend likes her back.

Anyways, since she's in one or two of my classes, like I said, I get this paranoid feeling everytime I'm around her, to be honest with you.Honestly, when I see her, she's changed, and she's not really a snob, though most of my friends say she is, and is a fony, or something like that, but of course, you can't always take someone else's perspective on a person, you have to have your own opinion.

But still, it is the weirdest thing.I get paranoid thinking that she's going to talk crap about me, or if I look at her for a certain amount of time or something random like that, she's going to think I'm this weird person.I don't know.I guess you could say that I get very paranoid about this whole thing, but also - She's kind of, and I mean, kind of one of the popular girls, so that doesn't make it any better.

It's the weirdest thing, I know...and I'm not even friends with this girl.She is polite to me, and doesn't really give me an attitude, but somehow, I keep my eye open, and wonder if she's going to someday snap, and just do something unecessary by starting rumors about me, which I'm sure will never happen.

...So, what should I do about this situation?

Not let this girl get to me, no matter how she treats me, or still keep my eye on her, considering what most of my friends say?

You should just keep your guard up about what you say to her, cause I knew a girl like that and she would be so nice to people to get them to tell her stuff, and as soon as they turned their back, she was laughing at them! She blatantly used people to help her with school work as well, but she was popular, so she got away with it! She never personally attacked me, but I saw what was going on and it upset me a little that people trusted her so much just because she was popular and showed a little interest in them! Don't tell her anything personal and watch how she treats others, then you can make a decision on what kind of person she really is!

Watch what info you give her about your self... only the necassary. Girls like that act sweet to your face then turn around and hurt u... sumtimz.

Okay usually girls won't talk behind each others backs for no reason if she trying to be nice to you then she probably just wants a friend so no need to stress it. Just calm down honestly girls don't go out of their way for no reason to spread rumors about someone. It sounds like your very intimidated by her but I bet she is intimidated by you to. It shouldn't matter if she's a popular girl or not knowing from experience all people who are considered popular are just the same as everybody else. My advice is get to know her and be nice to her because no one will intentaully be mean for no reason good luck!!!
