Do pap smears hurt?

Umm I was wondering if pap smears hurt? I probably need to get one cause I need birth control for my periods... yah dont go saying what they do because I know what happens during this... I just need to know if it hurts?

do you mean a cervical smear?

it doesnt hurt just feels very uncomfortable... that is all it lasts all of like 2mins I think..

Thats exactly what it feels like. It is uncomfortable but doesnt hurt,

I've never heard of cramping!
you can just feel them touch you inside with the swob, which is a little uncoftable.
only takes a min'.

as ever one else said it does feel uncomfortable...but the best thing to do is try to relax, because the more you tense up the more uncomfortable it will feel!!
