What do pantyhose actually do?

My mom used to put them on me when I was a kid because she found it more appropriate when wearing dresses to church and some other places. Sometimes I wore them under my uniform for school when I didn't have a chance to shave before school or the night before. I prefer those tights things that go right below the knee, they are very cute and stylish.

They make you look older, especially the knee highs.

I wear them because they're warmer and they hide my bruises(I always have loads of bruises for some reason?)
and when I don't get time to shave my legs :P

They enhance a woman's appearance. Like makeup for the face, they improve the appearance and make sexy legs look 1000 times sexier.
