you start ovulating once your period is over. the whole point of a period is that it gets rid of the old egg and starts making a new one. you are less likely to get pregnant during or right after a period but still use a condom cause I have heard of people gettin pregnant that way. its not worth taking a chance...

There's a website for you to figure out your exact ovulation days..
You'll need to know date of the first day of your last period.

it varies depending on how long your cycle is.
