skip the 20-40 min exercise use that time to focus on homework...
kids work hard in school and it is exhausting. Not only do you have a full time job at school, it gets sent home with you to continue...you cant keep affording not getting your homework turned in...exercising can wait till the weekend or when you dont have homework to focus on, that has to come 1st...rushing it in study hall only stesses you out and doesnt add well to your already busy school day.
I would recommend b vitamin drinks to maybe boost your energy a bit before beginning your workout- really get the blood pumping, maybe finish off your b vitamin drink before turning your focus onto your homework.
the finish line is nearly here, keep your eye on getting through the next few months- use that to motivate yourself, ultimately it is your mind that needs to control your body- the b vitamins should help pep you up a little bit. get your mind set to push yourself through this and it will happen- you will feel exhausted- but you know what you need to do- just a little bit further, and you will be able to relax a bit until college starts.
same here. school is tiring, which is probably the reason I sleep til noon on saturdays. its all b/c everybody works hard in school, so your brain is working even harder which basically is making you tired. try taking out the exersize and like juli said do it on the weekends. you need sleep to recharge your brain for the next day. and I also agree with taking energy drinks.. they're really helpful. have you tried lucozade energy tablets, they're basically pure energy in powdery tablet form. they're really helpful, also gatorade, lucozade, or powerade, all great energy drinks.

Overwhelming exhaustion after school!!
When I come home from school, I generally feel extremely wiped out. I rest for a bit, exercise (20-40 min.), then eat dinner and still feel totally exhausted. Due to this exhaustion, I generally can't do homework at night, and end up going to sleep and...
not turning in my work (or rushing through it during study halls). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
hugs,
Jill
