Only ONE galaxy is considered 'ours' and its the one we live in: designated 'ours' by residence, not by ownership.

the milky way which is the one we are in ,not own, has 200-400 billion stars. it spins in a spiral. The Hubble Space Telescope (HST) site estimates there are hundreds of billions of galaxies in the universe. A recent German super-computer simulation estimates that the number may be as high as 500 billion! Can someone please clarify the accepted educated ballpark figure? Thanks a billion!
