So since God created every race, unique, with their own beliefs, then why does he alow them to believe in other gods? If he only wants them to believe in him? That confuses me...

everyone does believe in him they just have different perspectives of what that
means like muslims and blowing themselfs up so they can have 70 virgins in heaven
I mean get real nobodey evan sead they wore female virgins
and christianity I mean if god can have kids then hes not really godly
besides that sacreficing his only son doesn't eny thing cause he can always make some more besides the fact that he can come back to life whenever he wants
witch makes his death kinda pointless
not trieng to bash anyone just pointing out no hard feelings people

Man has free-will - however in His word He instructs us that we are to have no other God's before Him - some people their God is money, looks, success, drug of preference, etc. - bottom line: what/who they truely worship in their heart - only they and God know that.

To put it simply, everyone has a choice. Another point is that if someone was made to love you then it would be the worse kind of love. But if someone choice to love you by their own free will then it is a greater love.

ok this is a most likly true answer I really don't no tho lol but fisrt things first don't believe solamon he is rite at some pionts but not at others like the christian prt.god cnt hve children what he can do is send children down from heaven and put them in women's stomach or watever lol but still there is only one god other religions such as muslim, pilgram, budda, ect. has a different perspective really all they do is like hve a different picture and belief lol so really I guess it don't really matter...if your muslim stay that religion caz it doesnt matter what you believe in as long as you no that god is god and he can do anything and he gave us a life and its our choice on how we make it and by the time we die it's his choice on were two put us!

I believe that we should not have other God's before our God. Am Blessed makes a great point to illustrate above. I do believe He is the only real God, personally. I believe in the Trinity and I believe that without Him this world would be a miserable place.

That being said, I also believe that others may be worshiping the same God, with a different name, and I believe that there is the possibility that God says different things to different people.

If you trace the Muslims back in time you will find a story about their origins in the bible. It is the story of Abraham, Sarah, and Sarah's maidservant Hagar. Hagar has a son named Ishmael, and she is promised that her descendants will be too numerous to count. This was the beginning of the Muslims. So in fact their name for God, Allah, is just a different name for the same God. They however have different rules and regulations in their religion, and there is a very necessary reason for it. If you think about it the enmity between Sarah and Hagar never went away, it changed into hostility and became more as the generations passed. They have a purpose in the end times as much as the Jewish population, who are the favored of God.

I know, I got away from the subject a little, but it is to make my point clear, once they worshipped the same God. It still is the same, just with a different name. Who is to say that many others are not worshipping the same God, with a different name, according to the way He manifested himself to their people?

how people are zombies *sigh*
the idea of one god didn't come abot until this one egyption giy decided to combine all the god together & call it the one true god, then it went from there.
It's as simple as that.
Long after the pagan religion & such. *sigh*

Suppose you figured out how to simulate an entire universe, and you constructed your universe such that simulated intelligent life resulted. Would you care whether or not those life forms believed in you? Would you care about their mating habits? You might prefer they didn't kill eachother, but would you really care if they did?

Even if you suppose a creator god, it makes no sense to suppose that god would care whether or not we believed in it. The modern concept of god is modelled after ancient tyrant kings who demanded worship and absolute obedience.

OK! here we go-
I just started reading the bible and trying to understan the full story bout a month ago and I read every night from 11-12 when my kids go to ned so I have time to actually focus and take in wht im reading. so far this is what I got:
God delivers his choses people(the hebrews) thru moses who went and got them from Egypt. Back inthe old testiment it was pretty much a your going to do as I say or you will be condemned. they were hes "CHOSEN PEOPLE" meaning he chose them to do as he says and set an example for all of time to come. this was a process of im guessing 300-500 years. at first it was like ok we'll do what you say then they decided they wanted to worship other gods and do certain things he told them specifically not to do then they would come back and repent. now God was with them morning and night-all day! at night he was a ring of fire over their camp and during the day he was a cloud over their tent. but as they did this back ond forwarth stuff for so long thats when he decided to give us our free will. when he delivered them from egypt he said they were to go to the promised land but they kept messin up so much that the journey to the promised land which should of taken no more than a month took 40 years! so he gave us our free will. the way I take it is that he pretty much said do what you want im tired of bn mad @ you. But also he says if you know who the Lord God is and you know what he asks of you and you still dont do it he is not with you. just because you know his name and what he stands for will not send you to heaven. its a hard long process and he wants us all but will not force it on us any more. you have to want it.

It makes more sense to me that people created all these gods and the somewhat arbitrary rules that go with their worship.
