Is osama bin laden still alive? If he is why are the american soldiers taking so much time in catching him? By the way I think the soldiers life in Iraq sucks. I feel sorry for them

Those soldiers are doing a great job over there - we owe them our gratitude and support - hard to say if he's alive, one would think they would have produced a picture by now, even if injured it'd be a tremendous boost for their morale - so it is doubtful - no doubt our intelligence knows way more than we'll ever know - we'll just have to see what develops !

Yes, he's still alive, unfortunately. His entourage is doing a damn good job of hiding him. They're not taking their time. They're just having difficulty. There's a lot of ground to cover and not enough people to cover it so it's just taking a long while.

I think the US is one of the very few countries that claim that he is still alive.

Assuming bin Laden is still alive, he's not in Iraq, so the soldiers aren't going to find him there.

My money is that he was smuggled into Pakistan, where many Afghani insurgents have been launching attacks from, or he's possibly hiding back home in Saudi Arabia. And no, I'm not saying his family is hiding him. Osama is really a bad apple in the family. The Bin Ladens have done a lot of good.

Yeah I really feel sorry for his family.
