Only children

What do you guys think of only children? I am an only child and it seems like everyone always assumes that if you are an only child you scream and stomp your feet and get everything you want blah blah. So I was just wondering what you guys thought of only children?

Lol, I'm an only child, and yeah I get that whole "you must be so spoilt" thing from people... Well it is true, my parents do spoil me, but it doesnt mean they didnt teach me values and consideration and generosity either. Most people are surprised how down to earth I am. As far as negative stereotypes go, it's not something that cant easily be overcome...

I don't think all only children are like that. Some are yes but not all. Most still have values and are mature. I'm not the only child but I'm the youngest and the only girl so I get spoiled but I don't act like I should get everything I want.

I am not an only child but I know people who are. Some are spoilt and some are not; I think it depends on the relationship between the child and parents. Peronally I try not to judge but if they it is a pretty stupid stereotype because either they spoil you heaps or not at all is my experience. If that makes sense lol!
