One dark circle under my eye

Does anybody out there have dark circles underneath their eye but is only on one eye?

Is it from your make up?

NO I WAS WITH THIS GUY WHO USED TO BEAT ME ALL THE TIME, AND HE ALWAY'S WOULD HIT ME IN MY RIGHT EYE AND NOW I HAVE A PERMANENT DARK CIRCLE.

Oh my god why haven't you gone to the doctor to get an x ray you coul have a bruised bone. I'm soo sorry you had to deal w/ that kinda trash you should turn him inxoxo

I don't know if it's a bruise bone but I had notice it like a year ago and I just recently went to see my doctor and she ask me what happend but I lie and told her that I didn't know but all she gave me was some vitamins but she couldn't do anything anyway's because she said it's cosmetic.

Mabey she could refer you to a eye doc.

She was talking about me seeing a dermatologist, but you don't realize how mad I am about this, my eye is just a reminder of what he did to me and the worst part is that I am marry to him, I mean he doesn't hit me anymore but it makes me so mad and not only that it depresses me and I cry sometimes like every other day, people tell me to not look in the mirror but I can't help it I look like that dog from target with one spot on one eye.

My sister has the same problem, same exact situation. She didn't go to the doctor thought but she does have some sight issues now.
My heart hurts because you are hurting. How can you friends tell you not to look in the mirror that makes no sense. I would suggest that you guys seek couseling so that you can confront him on issue and he can really know how you feel. You married him so he probably thinks you are fine and over it. Obviously you are not and you should have to deal with the pain on a daily basis. What if, if you don't already, have children and your child asks what happened. If you want your relationship to last try to deal with the reminder you have to walk around with everyday.

I hope you guys work through this and he never puts his hands on you ever again.
