On turning 13 poems

for English class we had to make two On Turning poems and make a positive one and a negative one on ages in our life. I did both of mine on turning 13. Theres no structure for it and its not suppose to flow really.
heres the postive one-

The whole...

idea makes me feel...
ready to face life.
I'm a teenager now
I've got many friends at my side
through thick or thin
I always have people there for me
They all see me as a leader,
so a leader I shall be

At 13 me life starts
new challanges,
and more freedom to match it.
Now I have a boy to love.
Someone to hold me,
and keep me strong.

I'll be graduating from Middle School.
Next year is High School
A whole new twist on life

As a teen my life begins
so, here I come
to complete what I came here for
---
and this is the Negative one-

The whole idea makes me feel...
much less powerful then expected
Now I'm one of the big kids
a leader of the school
but next year I'll be one of the babies

As a teen I have to work hard,
just to keep my parents trust
and even tho im only 13
I've ended up with a #1 enemy
That enemy of mine,
hes banned me from seeing the one I love
only with the exception of school
For that reason I must be strong
I cant let my friends see me down
to them I am their leader,
and a leader must be strong

At 13 I have much more responsibility.
My temper has gotten worse
getting me in more trouble

So, at 13 it has its up's..
but it also lhasits down's.
