Should I talk to or be friends with my ex?

Remember I asked what my boyfriend could be about to tell me?
Well he broke up wit me and now I don't know what to do. I mean I can get a new boyfriend but I love Donte and I thought he loved me but I guess not. He won't tell me why he broke up with me. I know what your going to say just try to move on it seems like it will be easy but I don't know I don't want to get hurt again. It seems everytime I love someone even family they always hurt me or leave me (family either not in my life or died)(boiis just hurting me). but I need some help to know what to do. Should I be friends wit him even though he broke up wit me probably for another girl named Jessica the freak I was telling you about. But I really need help Should I talk to him? Should I be friends with him? Or should I just move on and get a new boyfriend or just talk to a boii?????
